Shakthi Vasudevan ((マラヤーラム語:ശക്തി വാസുദേവൻ); born 23 February 1983) is a Tamil film actor. He is the son of director P. Vasu and began his career in his father's films as a child artist.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Thottal Poomalarum Tamil Movie Preview )〕 ==Career== Vasudevan was featured as a child artist in his father's successful ''Chinna Thambi'' in 1991, portraying the younger version of the character played by Prabhu. He went on to star in ''Nadigan'' featuring Sathyaraj. In 2007, he returned in the lead role in ''Thottal Poo Malarum'' again directed by his father P. Vasu; however, the film was unsuccessful at the box-office. Since then he has featured in the romcom ''Mahesh Saranya Matrum Palar'', another unsuccessful film. Vasudevan appeared in a supporting role in ''Ninaithale Inikkum'' where his role was appreciated by critics, and the film managed to break even. He is currently acting in several films including ''Aattanayagan'', ''Vanjikottai Vaaliban'', ''Etho Seithai Ennai'' and ''Kallachiripazhaga''. In his next film, due the end of September 2015, Vasudevan is due to return with a new screen name Sakthivel Vasu in Tharkappu. The film is directed by RP Ravi with music and cinematography by Failzal and Jones Anand respectively.
